Meet Harmony
Harmony Slater is one of only a handful of women worldwide to be Certified in Ashtanga Yoga by Sharath Jois. She brings more than two decades of experience teaching around the world.
Harmony has a rare ability to share traditional teachings while making you feel grounded, seen, and just a little more okay in your skin.
This weekend is a chance to practice with her, ask questions, get curious, and spend some time together as a community.
Weekend Schedule
-
6:00–7:30 PM Opening Ceremony + Evening Workshop. We’ll kick off the weekend together with an opening session and our first workshop with Harmony.
7:45 PM Group Dance Lesson at Society Hill Dance Academy. This is some optional fun. Because it’s good to cut loose and try something new. -
10:00 AM–1:00 PM Mysore Practice - individualized instruction in a traditional setting. Come with the practice you have. Not the practice you think you’re supposed to have.
2:00–4:00 PM Workshop. What are we working on? It’s a surprise. Harmony will choose the direction of our afternoon together based on what she's seeing & sensing from the group.
6:00 PM Victor Cafe for opera dining experience (optional). -
10:00 AM–1:00 PM A second morning of Mysore practice with Harmony.
2:00–4:00 PM Workshop & Closing Ceremony. One more mystery workshop to round out the weekend. No spoilers. Come curious.
Do I need an established Ashtanga practice?
You do not need an advanced practice to benefit from this weekend.
If you already practice Ashtanga, you'll have the opportunity to work individually with Harmony during the Mysore sessions and explore the practice beyond asana during our workshops.
If your practice is newer, you're welcome too. Mysore practice is inherently individual: you work with the practice you have, at your own pace, with guidance from the teacher.
